Department for Political Education

The Department for Political Education is your contact point for all kinds of events concerning political awareness at the University of Trier.

Together, we would like to encourage you to critically engage with (daily) political events and university topics with a balanced mix of discussion rounds, film screenings, lectures, excursions, workshops, reading groups and more.

In our office in the Studihaus, we also offer you a well-stocked department library with specialist literature on politics and society, which can be accessed via TRiCAT (branch 916) and can be borrowed free of charge.

If you have your own ideas for events, but also suggestions or criticism, we are happy to hear from you on our Facebook page or by email. If you wish, we can also meet in person at the Studihaus by appointment.
