English version below<\/em><\/p>\n Auf dem Campus befinden sich zum einen gro\u00dfe gr\u00fcne Wiesen, zum anderen aber mit B\u00fcschen, B\u00e4umen und dem Teich zumindest auch ein etwas abwechslungsreicher Lebensraum, der aber sicherlich in erster Linie dem Aufenthalt f\u00fcr Menschen dienlich sein soll. Um den Campus etwas nachhaltiger und f\u00fcr die artenfreundlicher zu gestalten, haben wir hier ein paar Vorschl\u00e4ge gesammelt.<\/p>\n Mit einer Verl\u00e4ngerung der M\u00e4hintervalle oder auch der Einsaat von heimischen (Wild-)Blumen in ausgew\u00e4hlten Bereichen sowie der Aufstellung von weiteren Hochbeeten oder der Installation von vertikalen G\u00e4rten k\u00f6nnte aber auch noch gro\u00dfes Potential mit vergleichsweise geringem Aufwand erschlossen werden. Aber auch mit dem Aufh\u00e4ngen von Insektenhotels , der vermehrten Pflanzung von Obststr\u00e4uchern und -b\u00e4umen sowie dem Anlegen von Gem\u00fcse- und Kr\u00e4uterbeeten k\u00f6nnte der Lebensraum etwas aufgewertet werden. F\u00fcr uns Menschen hat es auch unmittelbare Vorz\u00fcge. Zum einen sehen bunte Wiesen viel interessanter (und sch\u00f6ner) aus, zum anderen k\u00f6nnen wir einen Teil der Fr\u00fcchte ernten. Eine hohe Vielfalt kann au\u00dferdem dazu beitragen, Ungleichgewichte zu minimieren und so z.B. ein Gleichgewicht zwischen Insekten- und Vogelpopulationen zu schaffen – nicht ohne Grund setzen manche Kommunen mittlerweile auf Meisen im Kampf gegen Eichenprozessionsspinnern.<\/p>\n Wie es an einer Universit\u00e4t so \u00fcblich ist, gibt es nat\u00fcrlich auch aus dem Bereich der Forschung zu berichten bzw. Projekte vorzustellen:<\/p>\n Zentrum f\u00fcr Biodiversit\u00e4t<\/strong>: In diesem Projekt wird ein Zentrum f\u00fcr den Schutz wirbelloser Tierarten aufgebaut. Es geht dabei um die Erforschung ihrer Biodiversit\u00e4t und ihrer Gef\u00e4hrdung sowie die Entwicklung von Ma\u00dfnahmen gegen den anhaltenden Verlust von Arten. Daf\u00fcr werden weltweit wirbellose Tierarten erforscht, neue Arten beschrieben und der menschliche Einfluss auf ihre Population untersucht. Das erlangte Wissen soll dann in die \u00d6ffentlichkeit und Politik sowie an Studierende und Expert*innen weitergegeben werden. Ebenfalls werden der Gef\u00e4hrdungsstatus von Arten regelm\u00e4\u00dfig bewertet und sogenannte “Key Biodiversity Areas” (KBA) identifiziert. Bei KBA handelt es sich um Gebiete mit einer besonders hohen Bedeutung f\u00fcr den Schutz von Arten.
